ABOUT US / Deepdean Design is the partnership of Lucian Quatermass, a timber craftsman who is interested in & involved with traditional build methods, and has carried out historic barn restorations alongside John Hamilton, a former landscape architect and now wood owner, who manages the family-owned woodland at Warmhill Wood. John has been involved with timber and forestry for several decades and the Deepdean Design HQ is nestled in the family woods in the Forest of Dean, where we have our own source of sustainable wood including larch, chestnut, hazel, oak and pine.

About Us

Unlike many of larger build companies, Deepdean Design offers a personalised service and bespoke product range to suit our customers’ needs. We also have our own woods & sustainable wood source and milling equipment.

You can commission us to build all kinds of small and medium timber structures, from pergolas to arbors, garden rooms to porches, bandstands to yoga studios, mantlepieces to signs and every thing in between.

The talented and experienced team at Deepdean Design produces innovative and original timber products that are produced from local, natural materials that are then hand crafted by local craftsmen. We are incredibly proud of the products we create and our customers think we’re pretty great too.
